Dear readers,
I have been blogging for about 11 months now. I have enjoyed good readership and wonderful participation. Thank you for your support and encouragement! I wanted to let you know that I am moving bag and baggage; nope, not me! :) but the blog. Yep, r2blore has a new home now. I am working on a site that will house all my thoughts and works. And r2Blore will now be a part of it. I plan to do a lot more writing on a variety of things. The site is still a wok in progress and it will be a while before it reaches where I want it to be. All the posts and comments have been moved manually. So, not everything from here is still there. Hope to see you all there.

Chits ,
You R - O - C - K !!!!!
Keep it up.
Hello,
I have been visiting your blog for longtime and found useful stuff regarding Bangalore. Keep up the good work in your new site as well.
The site does not seem to be up yet.
One suggestion - Saw a list of movies as your favourite in your profile. I assume you may have seen the movie - Vedam Pudhithu in tamil. Not sure if you are a tamil or telegu or Kannadiga. There is a dialogue in that movie - "Thevar-ngarathu neenga padichu vaangina pattamaa" by a small boy. On a similar note would like to know why you should continue to use your caste identity in your blog ? Wanted to mention about this for a long time but avoided since it could be sensitive. But now seeing your new site name - thought of expressing it nowitself. You could have retained as Chitra or Chitra-R2I or Chitra-(your initials or your father/hub's initial or name or whatever or even your native town name or even Chitra Bangalore etc) -why Chitra Iyer ? Why not leave the "Iyer" word from the identity ?
Thanks for reading.
-Mahesh, Bangalore
Thanks Nell!
Mahesh, thanks for your thoughts!
Dear Chitra.....
My Best wishes on ur future plans ... :)) I will miss ur writing .... specially the ones like Ganesha Habba... about the good things in India....
However, I would just like to clarify something with U... since U show how bad the roads r ....or when U write something negative... or disadvantages in India... I hope U r doing something about it... coz if ur only writing about how bad things r etc.... it does not make sense... when U write/comment about our country specially on blogs etc... I do hope U realise that we r a part what our country is.... when U r pointing finger at some one there r three of our own fingers pointing at Us.... It seems that U take sooo much of pain in taking photos... writing about them... I hope U r doing something to improve..... I hope U r trying to bring awareness and trying to do something to help all these get better otherwise ur blog does not serve the purpose....
Plz do not mistake it.... since u have a such a nice talent of writing ... bringing together and making them to think etc .... I just want/hope U make the best of it..... Coz I Love my country no matter where I am.... I want my country to do well as other countries do....but I do not have the talent U have..... so I wish U would show ur work (writing power) not just in writing but in action by making all Indians to love their country and not feel to run away and sit in rich countries.. when we know there r millions and millions of our people with no proer food .. good shelter.... no proper education etc.....we should come back and do something for our country.. after all India is our Mother and none of us as birth mothers would want our kids to ignore us... its the same to our mother country India.... :))
All the best in ur future endeavours... :))
